Mass Spec Analytical (MSA) is a UK-based specialist in trace detection and analytical systems for security, defence, border, law-enforcement, and other demanding analytical applications. MSA’s systems are built on laboratory-grade single and triple quadrupole mass spectrometers, applying proven analytical science to operational environments. By measuring molecular mass-to-charge ratios, our technology delivers unambiguous chemical identification with higher confidence and selectivity than traditional screening approaches.
Bringing advanced science to operational environments
Our flagship platforms, including NXT-Detect and Scentinel® II, integrate advanced sampling, thermal desorption, and atmospheric pressure chemical ionisation (APCI) with robust mass spectrometric analysis. Unlike legacy IMS-based systems, they are inherently resistant to contamination, self-purging in operation, and require no extended burn-out periods—maximising availability and throughput.
